Ex- Doctor Accused of Sexual Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have announced that a former physician now faces charges for performing assaults against 38 victims who were under his care.
Details of the Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of numerous acts of sexual assault – including acts against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.
One senior prosecutor stated, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Investigation
The charges follow what investigators called a “complex investigation” into alleged assaults at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.

- Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
- Seventeen counts of assault by penetration.
